Parenting is a adventure and unfortunately we aren’t born knowing how to be parents!
While there are lots of blogs and books and advice on parenting there are no definitive rules because parenting is subjective! There are to many variables such as:
-personalities
-mental and physical health
-family circumstances
-the world around us
With all of these factors how do you know if your parenting right?
Simple you don’t.
You can make every right decision parenting wise in the book but in the end children are their own beings and will make their own decisions despite our best efforts.
All we can do is try our best to teach our children how to make proper decisions, to live with the consequences of those decisions good or bad, and give them love and support when they make a mistake.
What are some parenting tricks you have used to help teach your children to make sound decisions or to face the consequences of their decisions good or bad?
